Stegmaier Summer Pils

Stegmaier Summer Pils

Stegmaier Summer Pils (5.1% alcohol): This German Style Pilsner brewed by Lion Brewery, Inc. – a Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania based brewery. This beer is brewed with German Pils malt and imported German Noble hops. It is a light-golden beer with a thin white head. This pilsner has an aroma of malt, wheat and light hops. It is a light, crisp beer. To be honest, it didn’t taste much like the other pilsners I usually buy – Pilsner Urquell. It’s not a bad tasting beer, but it doesn’t have that crisp, bitter and traditional pilsner taste. If pilsners are generally too bitter for you, than you might like this beer or maybe it’s a viable a good option for a warm day. However if you’re looking for traditional pilsners, go with the Pilsner Urquell.
