Beer of the Week: Ramstein Northern Hills

Ramstein Northern Hills

Ramstein Northern Hills Amber Lager (5.5 % alcohol): This Vienna-style lager from High Point Brewing Company in Butler, NJ pours medium amber brown. It has a refreshing aroma full of light floral and malt scents along with subtle hints of citrus. High Point says, “This is a hoppy and sessionable year round version of our Oktoberfest.” I completely agree! The beer is packed full of malt flavor, but light enough for those hot summer days and nights. I had this beer on draft at Tiff’s Casual Bar & Grill in Morris Plains, NJ and I would definitely recommend stopping by to try this beer. I haven’t been able to find it anywhere else-bottle or on draft. Cheers!

  1. I have not really ever had much luck Finding Ramstein any place (even though a few shops still have their signs up) besides the brewery, even though Bolero Snort (contract brewed there) is every place.
